Mike West from Swinley Forest Mountain Bike club is going to take us on a tour of the trails with a bit of off piste chucked in.
MBSwindon’s Gary Palmer says: “I’ve been round Swinley with Mike before so I know it will be a great day out, the girls are going to be there as well so I feel a bit of a bake off coming on, if we can’t beat them on the trails surely we can beat them at the baking 🙂

On your approach into Bracknell, look out for signs to the Look Out discovery centre, or it is opposite Coral Reef swimming pool. £2 for 4 hours parking
Looking forward to this. By the way there is a cafe on site – bit expensive and not that great but ok as last resort.
There are green, blue and red trails. We’ll do blue, red, local trails and session the downhill runs (all xc red). Expect a mix of man made yellow brick road with big berms, small jumps and kickers, natural rooty singletrack, and some fire-road to link sections together. The hills aren’t that big so no killer climbs but trails make the most of the terrain so fast and swoopy. If we have a big group I’ll get more leaders so we can organise by pace / distance / xc or not.
