Hargroves Demo Day 2012 at Croft Trail Swindon

Hargroves Demo Day 2012

After the success of the 2011 Hargroves demo day they are back with more bikes for you to try in 2012.

“We are delighted that this is the second year that we will be holding the Hargroves Cycles MBSwindon Demo day on the 6th May 2012 at the Croft Trail.

Last year a great day was had by all and was supported by a huge turnout of local riders wishing to test bikes from the leading brands in the cycle industry.

For 2012 we are adding an additional brand to test, Cannondale which has been well received since being introduced at our Swindon store.

The brands which will be available to test are:
Specialized
Scott
Cube
Stevens
Cannondale

Full list of models.

How to test a demo bike:
Please hand in your Driving License/Passport and matching credit card along with this form (pdf) (note: ignore the mention of QE park, that’s their other demo day & it’s the same form for both days). We will store these items in a locked money safe hidden away from public view. Your Driving License/Passport and security credit card is kept under our full responsibility.

While in your possession, the bike you are riding is your responsibility. If you allow anybody else to ride the cycle, that too is your responsibility until the cycle has been returned. It is expected to get muddy and dirty, so have fun. However, it is your responsibility to pay for any damage resulting from misuse. A snapped chain or puncture is not considered to be misuse. Puncture repair facilities are available at base camp or if you are riding with a guide, they will be carrying essential tools.

Any injury sustained when out on a bike is solely your responsibility. Hargroves Cycles Ltd, its staff or the manufacturers supplying bikes on the day, may not be held responsible.

  1. Nit picking, read the .pdf from Hargroves, it refers to to Queen Elizabeth park, not Croft Trail

This weeks rain has felled a tree by the BBQ, dragged it off the trail but will cause you hassle next time you want to drag the BBQ out. There was a branch from a bush that was laying across the blue route by pete’s steps, not being dead it wouldn’t break by hand so is tucked under tension behind a tree there.

  2. Well spotted Shaun. I’ve added a note to the text to explain it.

Thanks for the feedback re the trail too. I don’t think that BBQ ever gets used!

  3. Hi Guys,

Really looking forward to this weekend we have arranged for a good selection of bikes to be available.

Thanks for pointing out the mistake on the registration form, i have changed this for the event.

    Thanks
