Club ride: Afan WW2

Riders ascending rocks.Afan is a great trail centre near Port Talbot in South Wales – just over 2hrs drive from Swindon… but well worth it.

Last time we were there we did White’s Level followed by a shortened version of The Skyline. See the ride report.

This time we’re planning on doing the WW2 trail. That’s the Skyline Trail joined to The Wall trail.

We’ll meet at 10am in the car park at the Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre. If anyone has any transport issues then contact us and we’ll see what we can arrange. Trails are free but there is a parking charge.

Google map of meeting point.

See the MBSwindon Afan trail guide.

  1. Thinking of joining you for the Afan ride on Sunday-what
sort of level are we talking? I have been to Afan about 5 or 6
times so far and love it. Will prb be bring a few mates if thats
    o.k?

  2. Hi Rich, we’re talking a level that will be fine if you’ve been there a few times before. We’ve had first time trail centre riders come out with us and survive.

    Bringing mates is fine too.

  3. Can everyone please take note of the start point for this ride. glyncorrwg mountain bike centre, not Afan visitor centre, 10 am. see ya down there yeah!
