This was another early trail build day with just Phil and Tom present. We continued cutting out a route in the woods on the East side of the pitch. None of this was ever used – we went for a more direct line as a temporary measure and that was then adopted as the proper route. The tortuous route that we cut would have been next to useless to ride looking back. It was one the last parts of the trail to be surfaced, finally being done in December 2011! |
