Trail build report: 14th Dec 2008 – flood. Rock moving to Piper’s hill

A deluge of rain meant that some of the woodwork section had floated away. We spent the morning retrieving the missing sections. We tackled the source of the problem by removing overgrown trees from the banks of the river. (At a later date the council came along and cut a massive branch away downstream and we’ve had no problems since then).

In the afternoon me shifted newly delivered rocks from the car park up onto Piper’s hill where they will be used to build a rock feature.

Phil on facebook: “A massive THANK YOU to Leanne, Jon and Alan all their help with yesterdays rock moving task.”
