A ride over The Ridgeway to near Wantage being led by Rafe. There are two distances/start locations:
- 25 mile route from Foxhill (Google map marker – look for a car showing the MBSwindon banner), 10am start. Cycling over to meet…
- 15 mile route from White Horse Hill (Google map marker), starting when the long route riders arrive (approx 11am, won’t leave earlier)
Lunch/half-way stop will be at the Court Hill Centre near Wantage. To assist them with catering for a large group please leave a comment here or the facebook event if you would like food.
The route will be quite a bit tougher than in the dry/summer months and as such the long route is intended for reasonably fit riders. It is advisable to bring some backup food and water.
Cafe are expecting us – they do toasties & hot chocolate so can’t go wrong!
Might be prudent to bring lights just in case we get waylaid by their log fire & leave too late 🙂
