Forest of Dean
The Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire provides a really large area with a choice of mountain biking routes. Natural single track, a 10 mile cross country race route, the FODCA trail, downhill sections and some scenic cross country.
This trip is going to be aimed at new riders, though everyone is welcome. It will be possible to form two groups if enough people want to go and do other things. There is also a pub that could be added to the route for a lunchtime stop.
The Pedalabikeaway centre has a good cafe and a large cark park. There is bike hire available fro the centre.
