Dave Price leads the first weekend ride of the year for MB Swindon. This will be a steady-paced ride of 20 miles, leaving Bedwyn railway station car park at 10am on Saturday morning (13th Jan). The route will be a mixture of back lanes, tracks and the odd hill (plus Roman ruins) – there may also be some mud !
There will be a cafe stop halfway round at Ramsbury, but please bring any food and water that you need with you, along with suitable clothing for the weather and basic bike spares (puncture kit etc.). If you are able to ride 20 miles at a steady pace (there will be plenty of stops) please come and join in – no one will be left behind.
The start location is the railway station in Great Bedwyn where there should be lots of parking – the nearest postcode is SN8 3PA, but it’s easy to find in the centre of the village. Start at 10am prompt.
