If you’ve ever thought of trying mountain biking, now’s your chance. In April, we are running a series of beginner-friendly rides.
Our third ride is on Saturday 18th April. Meet at Moulden Hill car park, ready for a 9.00am start.
This will be a there-and-back ride to Jennie’s Kitchen in Ashton Keynes. The route is mostly flat and on a hard-packed surface. Rideing from the car park, we’ll head towards ‘lego bricks’ then will pick up Route 45 onto the old railway track through Cricklade. After we stop for coffee and cake, we’ll begin the return leg, giving us a total of 15 miles.
All you need is a bike in good working order, a water bottle, and a helmet. We’ll ride at the pace of the slowest rider, and there will be plenty of opportunities to stop and rest. It’s a great way to get some exercise, meet people and get to know the beautiful landscapes that surround Swindon.
Please note that all riders must be aged 18 or over.
