| Description: | Starting from Coate Water car park, near the cafe and following National Cycle route 45 out of coate, across the M4 (over a bridge, don’t panic!) and through Chiseldon. Then taking the dismantled railway towards Ogbourne and up towards the ridgeway and along Smeaths Ridge to Barbury Castle. You then follow the road down the hill and then off road down the side of Burderop wood, back across the M4 over another bridge and round the edge of Brome Manor golf course and back into Coate Water stopping at the cafe for a well earned cup of tea. |
