This week’s Wednesday night ride will be a little different. We’ll be riding a shorter, easier route than usual, making this an ideal chance for new riders or those who are unsure about their fitness to come and try out a Club ride.
We’ll meet as usual at the Patriot’s Arms in Chiseldon, where we have permission to use the car park. Arrive in time to get going at 7.00pm.
We’ll ride 12 miles, with only 100m of climbing, which should be manageable for riders with even the most basic level of fitness. This should give you a chance to meet some of the regulars and judge how your level of fitness compares to others. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy riding in a group, too. We’d love to see a few new faces
What you’ll need: A working bike, a helmet (recommended), a drink, a spare tube (if you have one – we can usually find one if needed). It should stay light throughout the ride, but you will need lights if you are cycling home afterwards.
Some of us usually call in to the pub for a drink afterwards – you’re welcome to join us.
The start address is 6 New Rd, Chiseldon, Swindon SN4 0LU
