Tom Scott will lead this week’s Wednesday night ride, leaving the Patriots Arms at 7.00pm. He describes it as an ‘easy ride’ from the Pats up to Barbury, along the Ridgeway to Hackpen, through Rockley and down into Marlborough.
There will be a brief visit to a public house for a beverage in Marlborough, overlooking the second widest high street in England. The return to Chiseldon will be via the old railway track. Lights are a necessary and mud-guards are suggested as Autumn takes hold. The ride should take 2-3 hours. Bring your own chilli nuts! (Says Tom!)
