Our first Wednesday night ride of June takes us back to our old stomping ground – the Patriot’s Arms in Chiseldon. Meet in the car park (we have permission to use it) ready for a 7.00pm start.
Starting in Chiseldon allows us to spend a bit more time going cross country, though the aim is still to ride the usual 15 miles in about 2 hours. There will be some climbing and descending, but nothing too technically difficult, and we’ll ride at the pace of the slowest rider.
It should stay light for the duration of the ride, but you’ll need lights if you’re riding home afterwards. Don’t forget to bring a drink and a spare tube.
If you want to extend your ride, meet by the diving platform at Coate Water at 6.30pm and we’ll ride up the cycle path to Chiseldon.
