Hi Stuart,

Sadly, as I don’t work in Swindon I’ve never managed to get onto one of the Red Planet rides. However, I believe that as long as you turn up on time then you’re welcome.

Why not contact the shop directly (http://www.redplanetbikes.co.uk/ 01793 522211) just to be sure? They’re a nice bunch and can probably advise re lights too.

Sorry not to be of much use!

Hi,

I am on a course in swindon on tuesday 7th september and am keen to bring my bike. As i do not know swindon at all I was keen to join up with this evening ride and wondered if new comers are allowed? I cycle all the time in hampshire so im sure i wont be left behind!!

Do you need night lights or will standard lights cope??

Wow, thats some dedication guys. Its when you hear “2m per person hour” that you realise how much of a slog it is. I am looking to visit this for the first time tomorrow (Sunday), and cant wait. I wish Swinley would look to put this effort in, they have a much bigger area and it looks wasted compared to what you are fitting in.

Hi Chris, the triangle will be getting a complete makeover.
I don’t think it’ll ever be all woodwork – issues with grip in the wet and the need for bypasses round things. However, we all want to build some more woodwork. I want some more single sleeper bridges, plus we’ve talked about wooden berms plus some roller coaster style bits of woodwork.

Fyford. We’ll be adding build day events when we’ve sorted the dates, later this month. We aim to do at least 3 days of building per month plus a few evenings.
